My 3rd generation – twins again 👶🏼👶🏼
The 2018 holiday season is upon us and that for many of us means getting (or giving) one of the newest Tamagotchi’s! So we’ve put together a gift guide to make it easier to get (or give) the Gotchi you’ve wanted all year.
1. Tamagotchi Meets – The Tamagotchi Meets was just released in Japan this November and has been a fan favorite. With it’s new features such as Bluetooth connectivity with the Tamagotchi Meets app, and the ability to take care of twins, it should definitely hold a top spot on your list this year.
You can find the Tamagotchi Meets at online stores such as HobbyLink Japan, Amazon, and Japan You Want. Prices will vary but they should be around $50 USD. Be sure to factor in international shipping, or head over to Japan before the holiday!
2. Tamagotchi Original – The OG is back! What a better gift than the original Tamagotchi?, it’s sure to bring back some memories. This gift will put a smile on anyones face, and they’re available internationally at various stores for around $20 USD. Remember, these won’t be on shelves forever, so maybe pick up a few.
3. Gudetama Tamagotchi – SO ADORABLE! The Gudetama Tamagotchi has just hit the United States, and YES; they’re in English! So far we’ve only confirmed that GameStop has been carrying them, the case bundles are exclusive to GameStop here in the United States.
The Gudetama Tamagotchi features your favorite Sanrio character in all its cuteness, and did we mention that the shells are adorable? They’re based off of the Tamagotchi Nano, so less functionality that a full Tamagotchi, but more functionality than the Mini’s. The device itself is available for $19.99 and the case bundles that are available exclusively at GameStop are selling for $24.99.
Whichever version you have your eye on for this holiday season be sure to get your Tamagotchi soon because we only have a few weeks left!
I got these super cute tamagotchi crochet cases in the mail today!! These are from a shop on Etsy called OnceUponAHookAndYarn, and they’re perfect & so well made! 😍💕
I’m in love with it!
I made it to generation 50 on my Anniversary Mix!!!
I wasn’t a fan of the red ears + cape with the blue body he had, so I changed him to purple. I think he looks a lot cuter now. 😛💜
The newest part of my collection: a Mothra Tamagotchi! I got it super cheap because the shell has started to yellow and it does t have its original packaging. But I’m going to run this one soon, so that won’t be a problem.
